Established under Decree No. 26/2004 / ND-CP dated 15/1/2005 of the Government, The Center for Analysis and Forecasting is a scientific research organization under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Academy), performing research functions on theoretical issues and socio-economic practice; policy analysis and prediction of Vietnam's socio-economic development trend; to provide scientific foundations for the planning of the Party and State's socio-economic development policies, strategies and policies; providing scientific consultancy and participating in training and developing human resources on social sciences.
The Center for Analysis and Forecasting has legal status, its own seal and account; be allowed to open accounts at the State Treasury and banks in accordance with the law.
The Center for Analysis and Forecasting is located in Hanoi city; International transaction name in English: The Center for Analysis and Forecasting, abbreviated as: CAF.
